Scilla Siberica otherwise known as Siberian Squill is an heirloom perennial bulb blooming in early spring. Scillas have the agreeable habit of self-propagating freely in full sun or light shade and well-drained soil, living long, trouble-free lives. They naturalize readily in low grass or at the feet of deciduous trees and shrubs. Siberian Squill is a tough plant and grows 4 to 6 inches tall. It does best in Zones 4 to 9. Plant 3 inches deep and 12 per square foot.
