English Blue Bells
English BlueBells otherwise known as Hyacinthoides non-scripta are the true English Bluebells going back to 1580 in the British Isles. English Bluebells prefer light shade and dappled sunlight. Showy and slightly fragrant, they prefer temperatures in Zones 5 to 7 and bloom late spring to early summer. The blooms are a deeper violet blue than Spanish Bluebells and form bells on one side of the arching stem. Plant 9 per square feet.
