is a mid-season hardneck variety with rich, garlicky flavor and no hot kick. In the early summer, hardneck varieties produce edible scapes, flower stems that grow from the tops of garlic. Best planted in well drained soil 1 to 2 weeks before a killing frost. Separate cloves a day or two beforehand and plant 6 to 8 inches apart 2 to 3 inches deep, pointed side up. Cover with 3 to 4 inches of mulch and in spring use an all-purpose fertilizer. Harvest from late June through the end of July. Both Deer and Rodent Proof. Packages of 2 (Each bulb produces 6-10 plants)
