Allium Christophii, otherwise known as ‘Star of Persia”, blooms in early summer (around June). Allium Christophii forms grey green basal leaves which decline as the flowers form. Umbels, 10 to 12 inches in diameter form which may contain up to 100 silvery amethyst star shaped flowers. The soccer ball sized flower heads dry very well. This Allium is a showstopper and a huge attraction to any garden. Available in sixes and twelves.
