Galanthus Woronwii


 Galanthus Woronowii is often called Woronow's or Green Snowdrop. 

This Snowdrop is an heirloom bulb going back to 1893. A native to Turkey and Russia. Blooming very early in spring, the Green Snowdrop has white, nodding, fragrant, bell-shaped, delicate flowers with a little green on the flower and mounds of green foliage. This Snowdrop blooms in shade, prefers rich soil and grows 6 to 8 inches tall. This Snowdrop is extremely tough and will bloom in a snowstorm. Plant 4 inches deep 2 to 4 inches apart. Best planted in Zones 3 to 8.
